Yellow Ice Plant Flowers
My ice plant that is taking over the flower bed on the side of my house.
But the blooms are so pretty, I can't bring myself to cut them back.
I have purple ones too that haven't bloomed yet.

Dandelion Meadow
A meadow full of dandelions where we went camping this weekend
up behind Purgatory.
I think even Justin, "The Lawn Man", could admire it!
Going on a Bug Hunt
Hunter: "Do you wanna go catch bugs?'
Chyenne: "Sure, let's go."
Chyenne: "Can you help me up, Hunter?"
Hunter: "I'll help you up with my super powers!"
How Precious is that!!!!!
Garden Soil
This is the way we mixed the five different types of compost
with the peat moss and vermiculite!
Les called me crazy when I told him the plan.
But it actually worked out pretty good.
Here are the garden beds full of beautiful soil!

Flat Tire
So, no spectacular images this week.
Sometimes a picture is taken to tell a story and that's what this weeks photos do. Wednesday my friend, Angie, invited me on an after school bike ride.
So I raced home after school and took down my bike from the hook it hangs on in the shed, but not without injury. (My bike is heavy!)
Then Jakey and I searched for the adapter to go on the foot pump. (My tires were low from not being used all winter.) The problem was neither of us had a clue what we were looking for so therefore we couldn't use the easy foot pump.
I took Les' hand pump and pumped away......only to end up breaking the stem on my back tire which rendered it completely flat.
No bike ride that day!
Who knew that if you use that type of pump wrong it will break your stem?
I'm actually a little embarrassed to tell you all that I don't even know how to air up my own tires. I've never had to do it, because Les always takes care of it.
Garden
Again, more pictures that tell a story. This is our garden project we are working on.
My loving husband spent his weekend helping me build the raised beds and gather the peat moss, vermiculite, and five different types of compost for our soil mixture.
We are following the Square Foot Gardening book.
And it is coming together nicely.
More garden pics to follow as we make progress.
